White label Automated Teller Machine Operators (WLAO) that set up acceptance infrastructure such as ATM machines to provide banking services to the bank customers in India, based on cards (debit/credit/prepaid) issued by the banks. Increase in geographical spread of the ATM network will provide easy access to formal banking services in underserved/unserved regions in the country. The WLAOs’ revenue model is based on the volumes of transaction cost realized per customer transaction, value added services such as utility bill payments, subject to technical feasibility and certification by National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) and display of advertisements pertaining to non-financial products/services anywhere within the WLA premises.
Agent Network Managed Services/Business Correspondent (BC) Agent Networks that allow a human interface to onboard, assist in transactions and handhold the transition to digital channels for financial transactions. This is especially key for low resource, low income settings where gaps in digital literacy and information asymmetries hinder adoption of financial services. The BC agents offer a host of banking services such as bank account opening, cash in-cash out services, account balance inquiries, registration for GoI pension and insurance schemes, among others.
